... See who's behind all this!

Cristina has been
loving dogs since she was a very little girl, when she pretended
to be in the showring with her Siberian Husky in the garden of
her house. She has
always loved competition as well, as she also used to compete in
sports like gym and swim. At the age of 13, the dreadful death
of her Siberian led to the choice of owning a beautiful Golden
Retriever, Joy, with whom she began her handling carreer,
followed by another one, Leon. She has been one of the top
winning JH here in Italy, also achieving the prestigeous title
of JH European Champion, proudly won in Bratislava 2003. She has
lots of interests concerning the field of dogs and technology,
and, at most, the two put together (especially photography, k9
websites, advertising, and more...). The time is little, but
step by step she's having lots of thumbs up with these
activities. She started her Golden Retriever breeder "adventure"
in 2003; it is going on slowly but with good results, and she
also devoleped her handling activity very well, now co-operating
with an handling team. Watch out for more on her own site
www.goldshadow.it.

Emanuela
is a third generation of breeders under the "Gran Pamir"
name, the first registered Afghan kennel in Italy back
in the '50s. She has been into dogs all her life: at 3
years old she started her "handling experience", which
was crowned with a BIS at the prestigeous Milano Int
Show 1997 at 12 years under the late respected judge Mr
Arini, after having won an uncountable number of awards
in the previous 9 years and next couple of years, when
she reduced her activity though. Unfortunately JH in
Italy got to be seriously considered only when she was
approaching 18 years of age and could no longer compete.
Today she sparingly shows due to her many commitments,
she's in fact on the way to get her University degree in
late 2007. Emanuela has many other interests as well,
most concerning dogs; calling herself a "web artist",
over the years she has built over 20 websites for
kennels or dog owners from different countries and is
also the editor of the "Afghan Hound Post", an online
advertising magazine. Her other big hobby is Dog
Photography: in the last couple of years her shots have
had a tremendous success and are featured on websites
and magazines all over the world. Learn more about her
on her own
Gran Pamir website.
